Scrambled Tofu

No plant-based big breakfast is complete without scrambled tofu! This version is super quick and simple to prepare, for when you just need some food on your plate in 10 minutes flat. Who needs eggs, eh?

Scrambled Tofu

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 400g firm tofu

  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric

  • ¼ tsp paprika

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • 2 tbsp soy milk

LET'S GET COOKING

  1. In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients and set aside.

  2. In a saucepan, add the tofu and mash with a potato masher or a fork. Add a little water and cook, stirring frequently for 3 to 4 minutes.

  3. Add the dry ingredients and cook, stirring for 5 minutes.

  4. Pour in the soy milk and stir. Serve immediately with your desired sides.
